# 67. Buy a Big Issue
Status: Incomplete...
Harder than expected! Have been 'saving' this one as one that would be really easy to accomplish and then this afternoon seemed like the perfect time. Nothing to do, waiting for a meeting, and happenned to find out that the latest copy featured John Clarke, one of my favourite guys and one of the best things Australia has stolen from New Zealand. Thought I'd just duck downstairs and buy a Big Issue from the guy on the corner. Unfortunately he wasn't there. Nor on the next corner, or the next, or the next. I swear I see at least a couple of the vendors every morning - maybe they knock off at 5... I really want this issue before it disappears at the end of the month, so will try tomorrow morning - while no doubt running late for work and dragging a sadly distressed suitcase behind me.

#91 - Credit card
Status: Complete
Completed this a while ago, but wasn't excited enough to post about it. Switched to a Platinum Visa, which let me pull all my old Commonwealth Awards into Qantas at 1 for 1 and buy a flight to New York. Sweeeeet!

#90 - Phone plan
Status: Complete
Blackberry - 1; Willpower - 0
Ok, I give in, I do need a Blackberry. So I now check my email before I get in the shower, while I pick up lunch, at the beach, and occasionally in the middle of the night. The benefit for giving up my life is that work picks up the tab for my phone calls. And I don't have to feel as guilty spending 2 hours shopping at lunch...

Saw the fabulous Avenue Q on my last trip to NYC. Sesame Street for grownups.

#5 - Road tripping
Status - Complete and a half
1,000km, 3 days, 3 beaches, 2 ipods. This Brisbane to Sydney trip should cover off my road trip requirements. But just to be sure, we followed up with a couple of adventures west of Brisbane. Only a few hours each, but including some off-roading that stretched the gutsy Jazz to its limits.
