Back in the Southern Hemisphere

After a month of New York fun, I'm ensconced back in sunny Sydney for a few weeks. I'm planning another post shortly summing up the sights and sounds of my month's explorations, favourites and duds.

For now - an overdue update on some of the tasks in progress:

Kiva: loan #2 made to Asi, a food seller in Ghana 

Tripadvisor: review #3 posted, on the stylish Hotel Sezz in Paris

Flowers: fresh flowers #6

Galleries: had a great 2nd visit to the MoMA and a somewhat disappointing visit to the New Museum - we had to go, it was 3 blocks from the apartment, but it's just a little toooo modern for my tastes - the view from the top floor across Downtown was great though

Books: finished The Boat - for someone who doesn't enjoy short stories, I liked it - enjoyed at least half of them
