As an avid traveller, I'd used Tripadvisor occasionally to help choose hotels. Often, when I was then in a hotel, I'd say - I wish I'd know "this" or "that" about this place. And sometimes, I just really loved a place and wanted to help more people discover it. So I decided to start posting reviews and have now completed the target 5. I believe they can all be seen on my member page. In the end I picked the places I've visited recently and where I've had a particularly amazing time. Think I'll keep posting reviews and maybe include some of the ones I was less delighted with as well. It gave me the chance to show off a few photos, like this one of a gourmet picnic with a view, at Spicers Peak in Queensland.
Overall, it's been a good writing exercise and something else that gives me an excuse to look busy on my pretty macbook while lounging in bookshop cafes...
