#97. Comments...

Status: In Progress (2/10)
Thankyou Sara!!

#87. Teach at a training course

Status: complete
Took a session for the new little grad bankers on Trade Sales. I don't think any of them fell asleep (though they may have all been on facebook). And I'm sure they're all now pros on due diligence, negotiating with vendors, how to structure a dual track process, timetable, IMs, management presos, documentation and celebrating a win!

#70. Thank my wheelie bin elf

Status: Interrupted
They stole my bin!!
It's a bin. It smells. Please can I have it back? Please? I really don't want to have to call council and ask for a new one. They'll make me wait on hold for a day and a half and then offer to deliver one if I wait at home between 8am Wednesday and sometime in 2012!

#25. Have a French conversation in Sydney and #72. Start a conversation with a stranger

Status: Complete
This was Friday night. After a solid 12 hour drinking session. I think it went something like this:
Me: Hey K, check it out, those guys are speaking french!
K: Haha. That's awesome, go and talk to them
Me: Bonsoir!!
Them: Bonsoir... Tu parles francais?
Me: Oui (like, duh)
Them: T'es francaise?
Me: Non, Australienne. J'ai passe six mois a Lyon
Them: Ah, oui. T'etait etudiante? T'etait a Centrale?
Me: Non, a l'Insa. J'ai fait la genie civile.
Them: Ah! C'est vrai? Paul (ok, I made that up, I can't remember any names) est ingenieur aussi.
... And then K found a cab (at 1am on a rainy night 2 weeks before xmas, this is the equivalent of winning the lottery. twice) so we scarpered.

#50. Redo the Big Swim

Status: In progress
Did the Bilgola Ocean Swim yesterday and survived. It's only half the length of the Big Swim, but it's got to count as good training. MUST take seasick pills next time though. And put on sunscreen - I now have a number 38 burned into my right shoulder - how stylish.
